Technical wing is responsible for following Technical Sections.

• Microfilming:
  National Archives has well established microfilming unit with latest equipments and techniques. Microfilm Holdings are:-

  01	Microfilm holdings	6280 Rolls
  02	Negative of Photographs of the Quaid-i-Azam	3000 Nos.

• Repair and Preservation section:
  Repair and Preservation unit is an important section and is also called a back bone of the National Archives of Pakistan. Archival collections are chemically treated and physically restored using latest restoration techniques. Thousands of documents have so far been restored by Repair and Preservation Section.
• Oral Archives:
  Audio recordings contain interviews of important personalities relating to Pakistan Movement. Video recording collection consists on interviews of prominent personalities beside rare Cinema films and clips regarding Pakistan movement are also the part of oral archives collections.
